The concept of house system is an integral part of every school aiming at holistic development of students. It forms the basis of all competitions in the school. It promotes team spirit, group loyalty, healthy competition and adherence to school values and rules. The House system plays a pivotal role in the conduct of cultural and co – curricular activities in the school. From Classes I – V students are allotted a particular house as soon as he/she is admitted to the school. The school has 4 houses. It also develops healthy competition amongst the students and paves a path for leadership. There would be separate house in – charge for each house. The success of the house system is attained by the active participation of the students in daily activities of the school. Inter–house activities and competitions provide students with ample opportunities to develop their capabilities in various fields. The houses are named after the holy rivers of India, namely Brahmaputra, Ganga, Krishna and Narmada. In no other country the rivers are so much revered as in India. In fact, in our country these are equated to no less than divine mother. Like the river which initiates in the form of a narrow stream and pioneers into a huge resource, gurgling with vigor, sustaining life and always progressing, our houses would evolve and develop to add potency to the school as a whole. Division of Houses The Teachers and the Students are divided into four houses across the School to inculcate a sense of loyalty, team spirit, and healthy competition.
